 The Role

We are seeking applications for a highly motivated Team Leader to join our Beverages Production department, based at our Berkeley Vale Manufacturing facility. The role will report to the Beverages Production Manager and is responsible for managing and co-ordinating effective operations on Night shift. Key responsibilities include:

Provide proactive and collaborative leadership to the Night shift team.

  • Ensure machine operation processes are followed to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and quality standards to a high standard.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting line operation issues and escalating when needed.
  • Manage workflows and staffing needs on the shift.
  • Review and approve day shift timecards.
  • Coordination of employee training.
  • Supporting recruitment processes as the need arises.

Days/Hours of work

The hours of work for this permanent full time position is 11pm – 7am Sunday to Thursday. Overtime may be required from time to time as production outputs increase.

The person

The high self-motivated successful candidate will have a positive and ‘can do’ approach with proven experience and competency in the following:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • A constructive leadership style with proven ability to have coaching conversations with employees
  • Experience in a similar role working in a Beverages Production facility or an FMCG environment highly regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workloads and competing demands.
  • Strong focus on people and safety within the workplace.

The selection process will include interviews, online and functional testing as well as internal reference checking.
