Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Leader this role will act as a collaborative partner and trusted advisor to the hiring managers. You will provide talent acquisition advisory services to the assigned group of business leaders and functions managing end-to-end recruitment process. You will also partner with the assigned business in planning for talent sourcing and workforce planning. You will champion our EVP & D&I recruitment strategy.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities, include: 

  • Providing recruiting and talent advisory service to hiring managers with a focus on strong hiring manager and candidate experience and satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to internal key actors in the recruiting process (HR and hiring managers) to ensure process alignment and to drive recruiting effectiveness.
  • Lead proactive talent pipelining for identified key target groups and maintain the candidate pipeline for future roles. Understand talent supply and demand dynamics, review hiring needs and develop sourcing plan.
  • Manage end to end recruitment process championing our EVP & ensure employer branding initiatives are embedded as part of the recruiting process including job adverts, hiring manager and candidate interactions and interview and assessment process.
  • Understanding the fundamental business and talent strategy and how to link inclusion & diversity recruiting to business priorities and initiatives. Implement ID&E recruitment sourcing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Leader for the recruitment of strategic roles and as needed on other talent acquisition initiatives (e.g., campus recruitment, candidate relationship management, recruitment process optimization).
  • Ensure compliance with talent acquisition process standards and best practices.
  • Ensure data sanctity and integrity in the ATS to ensure meaningful reports are generated.
  • Lead & manage the direct report/s performance & development.

 The right candidates must be able to demonstrate: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years recruitment experience in an advisor capacity and recruitment experience for customer-focused roles.
  • Ability to build strong relationships & experience in developing relationships with hiring managers as well as proactively communicating with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Experience in sourcing using different channels including jobsites, social media, referrals, web2.0, diversity & inclusion platforms etc.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Expert with use of LinkedIn, ATS and other recruitment tools to identify and engage with top talent.
  • Team Player -- Collaborative style of working, sharing successes with wider team.
