  • $50.00 per hour (rate is inclusive of casual loading) PLUS super
  • Financial support provided to complete a HESA Nurse Immuniser Program

The role:

  • Monitoring our clients throughout their vaccination experience, providing care as required
  • Communicating, providing information, and reassuring our clients in the Disability and Aged Care sectors, along with vulnerable persons
  • Patient pre vaccination care and post vaccination care
  • Our work in the Vaccination/Immunisation space is growing! This means you will service additional sectors of the community
  • You will enjoy a dynamic role, as the teams provide vaccinations in both HUB and IN-REACH team models
  • HUB and IN-REACH Team locations change, depending on what parts of the Community we are vaccinating
  • VIC have HUBS in Avondale Heights 3034; King Street 3000; Brunswick East 3057; Warrnambool 3280. We also have IN-REACH teams working in these areas, as well as locations regionally
  • Maintaining privacy and confidentiality of all patient/client information 
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into AIR and other record keeping platforms

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of fulltime equivalent, relevant clinical experience
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification (not more than 12 months old)
  • ASCIA Anaphylaxis Certificate (or the willingness to obtain)
  • Completion of ASPEN Medical COVID-19 Modules; Pfizer; AstraZeneca; Disability Awareness and Hand Washing Modules (or the willingness to obtain/complete)
  • Current drivers' licence and motor vehicle 
  • Current National Police/Criminal record Check (not more than 12 months old) 
  • 2021 Flu Vaccination (not more than 12 months old)
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations (or the willingness to be vaccinated)
