About the role

Joining our Distribution Centre in the role of Distribution Administrator, you will be supporting the team with all customer orders and enquiries. In this busy role within our close-knit and supportive team, you will ensure orders are processed to meet expected delivery schedules, and you will assist with our transport providers. As we are a small team, there is often a requirement to be involved in the warehouse so experience in this area would be advantageous. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising closely with our customers by phone and email
  • Processing orders and invoicing
  • Maintaining transport manifests
  • Offering customer support on freight, pickups & deliveries
  • Investigating and processing returns/credits as required
  • Coordinating sales orders and transport schedules to meet customer expectations
  • Processing and control of pallet movements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated, service driven self-starter, showing:

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite, specifically in Excel
  • A proven record of exceeding customer expectations
  • The ability to evaluate and suggest process improvements

Previous warehousing experience within the shipping, freight or logistics industries would be advantageous.
