We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate WHS Business Partner.  The role will report to the Corporate WHS Manager and work closely with site WHS Personnel and management to deliver exceptional WHS related advice and assistance.  

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting a safety culture by leading, coaching, and mentoring key stakeholders to develop safety leadership skills and behaviours
  • Developing and maintaining WHS Management Systems suite of documents
  • Assisting in the development of WHS strategies
  • Developing WHS training programs
  • Coordinating and administering key WHS software systems
  • Monitoring data for emerging trends and develop plans to mitigate
  • Coordinating the WHS Audit program
  • Participation in serious incident investigations as required
  • Working collaboratively with WHS Coordinators and site management across Australia and New Zealand

Requirements - The successful applicant will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or related discipline
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a WHS role
  • Experience driving a safety culture by leading, coaching, and mentoring teams to develop safety leadership skills and behaviours
  • Experience developing WHS policies and procedures
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation
  • Proven ability to engage and work collaboratively with key stakeholders
  • Experience conducting audits and writing related reports
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and Project Management skills
  • Strong computer literacy

The position reports to the Corporate WHS Manager, is based on the NSW Central Coast and forms part of a small and highly experienced Trans-Tasman WHS team who are focused on positive safety leadership, improving safety culture within the organisation.
