About the role

Based at our offices in Royal Oak, Auckland, this role collaborates on developing and executing end-to-end brand plans and marketing initiatives to achieve assigned brand sales, market share and financial objectives.  The role offers opportunities to develop your NPD and advertising skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project management; incl new product and packaging development, go to market, research and PR
  • Formulating, preparing and implementing marketing strategies, plans and events
  • Advertising and communications development across all media channels
  • Monitoring, evaluating and presenting brand performance indicators
  • Managing allocated budgets; incl project marketing budget recommendations

About you

To be successful in this role, you need to be a pro-active, organised and customer focused individual, demonstrating:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with 4+ years marketing experience within the FMCG industry
  • Exposure to new product development
  • Familiarity with developing brand positioning and leveraging insights
  • Experience in brand strategy planning and marketing communications
  • Experience in promotional campaigns, media and creative campaigns
  • Project management skills
  • Sound analytical skills, including experience with Nielsen or Aztec
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills
