Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic company that is Australian owned and produces Australia and New Zealand’s favourite breakfast cereal Weet-Bix and liquid breakfast Up & Go as well as So Good, the leading brand in non-dairy milks.

We currently have a 12-month contract opportunity as the Brand Manager – Export, to cover a parental leave period.  As the increase in demand for our products and growth internationally continues, this role has one direct report and is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives for assigned brand(s) across the Export market.

Core responsibilities in the role include:

  • Reviewing strategy and financial/operating performance to brand plans and targets
  • Investigating, recommending and implementing new technologies, processes and practices to continually evolve and improve marketing effectiveness
  • Managing and maximising total resource allocation to budget
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Design and delivery of standardised Point of Sale and key digital assets (logos, packaging, campaign collateral, social media content)
  • Oversight of all digital activity and agency management
  • Liaising with local distribution partners and marketing agencies in key markets for local programs including sampling and retailer initiatives.
  • Support design and delivery of key trade shows and selling materials
  • Export specific packaging process management
  • Management and maintenance of Product Catalogue

 

The successful candidate will be a highly organised, results focused individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to utilise creative marketing techniques.

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or commerce
  • 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG brand management
  • Experience bringing new products to market
  • Experience with cross-functional project teams
  • Demonstrable understanding of key grocery retail dynamics
  • Experience managing customer research projects
  • Demonstrable experience converting research results into brand strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Experience in Export or International trade is highly advantageous.

The selection process will include interviews, online and functional testing as well as reference and Police checks.
