The role:

  • Administer vaccinations to clients providing care as required.
  • Communicate, provide information and reassure our clients in the Disability and Aged Care sectors.
  • As our work in the vaccination space expands you will service additional sectors of the community.
  • You will enjoy a dynamic role as the teams provide vaccinations in both hub and in-reach team models.
  • Hub and in-reach team locations change depending on which parts of the community we are servicing. At present we have NSW hubs in Carnes Park 2171, Surry Hills 2010, Tuggerah 2259, Newcastle 2300, Wallsend 2287, Wagga Wagga 2650 and Orange 2800. We also have in-reach teams working in these areas as well as regionally.

Successful applicants will possess:

  • Current Nurse Immuniser qualifications (relevant to state for COVID 19 vaccinaitons)
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • At least 12 months clinical experience
  • Current CPR, BLS or ALS certification
  • Anaphylaxis training certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of completed Australian Department of Health COVID-19 vaccination modules (or willingness to undertake training)
  • Current police check (within the last 12 months)
  • 2021 flu vaccination
  • COVID vaccination (or willingness to undertake)
  • Current drivers' licence and vehicle (optional for some hubs)

  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polite/friendly nature
  • Attention to detail

Preferable Criteria:

  • Previous vaccination experience
