We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Business Advisory team for an Assistant Management Accountant.  The role works closely with our management team to provide the financial support to enable them to make informed business decisions and effectively manage their area(s) of our business.  

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Financial performance monitoring
  • Detailed variance analysis
  • Assisting with preparation of sales reports
  • Assisting with advertising forecasting overhead spend
  • Assisting with annual budget preparation
  • Working collaboratively across departments to prepare and assist in reviewing proposals to support management in achieving their objectives.

Requirements - The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting
  • Completing or desire to complete CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
  • 1+ year related practical experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong customer focus and team orientation
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail

The position reports to our Management Accountant, is based on the NSW Central Coast and forms part of a small and highly experienced Business Advisory team who are focused on delivering outstanding business results.
