We currently have an exciting, twelve-month opportunity in our Finance team for an Assistant Accountant, commencing mid to late September.  The role works closely with the Management Accountant carrying out a range of accounting duties for both our Australian and  overseas businesses.  

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Budget preparation and consolidation
  • End of month settlements
  • Capital expenditure
  • Support of overseas business’ financial processes
  • Reconciliations
  • GL journals, accruals and redirections
  • Inter-company recharges
  • Insurance renewals and claims

Requirements - The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting (or close to completion)
  • Completing or desire to complete CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
  • 1+ year related practical experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exposure to a large ERP accounting system (ideally SAP) would be highly regarded
  • Strong customer focus and team orientation
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail

The position reports to our Management Accountant, is based on the NSW Central Coast and forms part of a small and highly functioning Finance team who are focused on delivering outstanding business results.
