Part-Time Machine Operator

Sanitarium Auckland Manufacturing are seeking applications for a Permanent, Part-Time Bispak Machine Operator to work within our Production department to assist in producing New Zealand's favourite breakfast cereal - Weet-Bix. 

This is a guaranteed 15 hours per week position where you will need to be available at the times below, however there is also the opportunity to work additional hours during the week.

  • Sunday 3am - 3pm
  • Friday 12pm - 3pm

The successful applicants will be self-motivated with a professional attitude towards their work and will help to assist in making a positive impact in their work environment. The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to WHS, food safety and quality in the workplace.
  • Have experience operating machinery and good mechanical aptitude
  • Have good attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be able to work unsupervised when required.
  • Be reliable and able to work in a team environment.
  • Be fit and healthy and able to lift up to 25kg.
  • Have well developed interpersonal skills.
  • Be available to work extra hours on occasion
  • Display a positive and professional can-do attitude and enthusiasm to contribute as a valued team member
